Have you ever experienced true hunger? Ever wondered where your next meal was going to come from? People all over the world struggle to find proper nutrition every day.

The mission of GoHungryNow is to raise support to help combat hunger in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa.

GoHungryNow is non-profit organization run and maintained by high school and college students around the United States.

Join us on February 16 2012, as we go hungry for the day and donate the money you would have spent for food for the day to children starving in South Africa. Go hungry ... GoHungry Now!!

Our Response

GoHungryNow is a response to the extreme poverty of orphaned children in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa largely as a result of the HIV/AIDS pandemic.

We provide a feeding program for babies and toddlers in the local day care (crèche) and for after-school children.

What can you do you ask? By asking people in your community to experience “true” hunger and go without food on February 16, 2012.

Although a symbolic jester, by donating the money you would spend on three meals for the day, we provide meals to children who experiences true hunger every day.
